Description:

The intercooler is installed between the turbocharger and the intake manifold. The purpose of an intercooler is to cool down the air that has been heated by the turbocharger. By cooling down the compressed air, more air mass can enter the combustion chamber with the same volume, allowing more fuel to be burned, thereby increasing power and efficiency. The lower the intake air temperature, the lower the thermal load on the engine and the turbocharger, as the turbocharger requires less rotation speed for the same air mass. Fuel consumption is also reduced, and the engine achieves slightly better exhaust gas values, provided that the engine control unit is adjusted accordingly. It is important to ensure that the intercooler gets as much driving wind as possible. The coolers can be used in turbocharged diesel and gasoline engines. When selecting, care should be taken to ensure that the intercooler is not too large for the engine, as this would negatively affect throttle response, but it should also not be too small. The intercooler offered here is fully made of aluminum with cast housings, has five mounting points with M8 thread, and a bar and plate core, perfect for motorsport and tuning. Each intercooler is tested up to 5 bar before delivery.
