The downpipe is positioned between the turbocharger and exhaust system. The connection to the exhaust is consistently maintained at 76mm. For easy connection to the stock exhaust, we offer a reducer sleeve (item 122517) available. This allows the downpipe to be installed plug & play.

Description:

Using the stainless steel ø 76mm downpipe significantly reduces back pressure, offloading the turbo which in turn delivers more power, torque, and lower exhaust temperatures. The post-cat sensor might need to be reprogrammed. The downpipe is made of stainless steel except for the flanges, which are steel to prevent warping and thus eliminate leaks. The flange surfaces are machined and the V-band connection is male/female, thus sealing by itself and is self-centering. It includes 2 lambda sensor connections M18x1.5mm and an interlock flex pipe welded in.

The downpipe is also compatible with upgrade turbochargers like K04-023 plug & play. The downpipe is a 1:1 replacement for the original.

The high-quality 200 cell sport catalytic converter has an E-Mark with the number E9-103R-00.3083. This allows even at 500HP to meet Euro 4 emission standards. (This is subject to having a coherent engine management/software and hardware).

The homologation document for the catalytic converters E-Number E9-103R-00.3083 is included. This allows for an official entry into the vehicle registration document through dialogue with the TÜV.
