Description:

The intercooler kit was directly customized for the vehicle (Golf 4 R32 Turbo). The intercooler is installed between the Turbocharger and the Intake manifold. The purpose of an intercooler is to cool down the air heated by the turbocharger. By cooling the compressed air, more air mass can enter the combustion chamber at the same volume, and more fuel can be burned, thus increasing power and efficiency. The lower the charge air temperature, the lower the thermal load on the engine and the turbocharger because it requires less RPM to move the same amount of air mass. It also reduces fuel consumption and potentially improves exhaust emissions, provided the ECU is adjusted accordingly. The offered IC is completely made of aluminum with cast tanks, has five mounting points with M8 thread and a Bar`n Plate core, ideal for motorsport and tuning. Every intercooler is tested up to 5 Bar before delivery.
