The ø 76mm downpipe significantly reduces back pressure, relieving the turbo which in turn brings more performance and lower exhaust temperature. The post-cat sensor might need to be reprogrammed. The downpipe is made of stainless steel except for the flanges, which are made of steel to prevent warping and thus avoid leaks. The flange surfaces are machined. Two lambda probe connections M18x1.5mm are welded in. The connection to the exhaust has ø 60mm like original; we can also provide 76mm Please specify with your order.
The downpipe sits between the turbocharger and the exhaust. A 200 cell sports catalytic converter with ø 101mm diameter is welded in. It can handle power up to 500HP, of course, other components such as Intake,
Exhaust system, injectors, Manifold,Intercooler, Turbocharger must also be installed and the software adapted.The downpipe is also compatible with upgraded turbochargers like K04-064 plug & play, it is simply swapped out for the original 1:1.
The high-quality 200 cell sports catalytic converter has an E-mark with the E-number E9-103R-00.3083.
This makes it possible to meet Euro 5 emission standards even at 500HP. (This requires appropriate engine management / software and hardware).The catalytic converters homologation document for the E-number E9-103R-00.3083 is provided. This allows for official entry in the vehicle registration document in dialogue with the TÜV.
