The stainless steel ø 76mm downpipe significantly reduces back pressure, unburdens the turbo, which in turn provides more power, torque, and lower exhaust temperatures. Possibly, the post-catalyst sensor must be reprogrammed. The downpipe is made of stainless steel except for the flanges, which are made of steel to prevent warping and thus prevent leaks. The flange surfaces are planed. There are 2 M18x1.5mm lambda sensor sockets welded in. The 200 cell catalytic converter has a diameter of ø 101mm. The downpipe sits between the turbocharger and exhaust system. The connection to the exhaust is as original.
The downpipe also fits upgrade turbochargers such as K04-001 plug & play.
The high-quality 200 cell sport catalytic converter has an E-mark with the E-number E9-103R-00.3083. This allows even with 500 HP+ to meet the Euro 4 emission standard. (The prerequisite for this is a coherent engine management / software and hardware).The approval certificate of the catalytic converter for the E-number E9-103R-00.3083 is supplied. This allows for an official entry in the vehicle registration document in dialogue with the TÜV.
