Description:

By utilizing the Stainless Steel ø 76mm Downpipe, the back pressure is significantly reduced, relieving the turbo which in turn provides more power, torque, and lower exhaust temperatures. It may be necessary to reprogram the post-catalytic converter sensor. The downpipe is made of stainless steel except for the flanges, which are made of steel to prevent warping and thus prevent leaks. The flange surfaces are planed and the V-band connection is male/female which seals itself and is self-centering. It includes 2 lambda probe connections M18x1.5mm and an interlock flex pipe welded in. The connection to the turbo is made with a three-hole flange to which a V-band connection is attached. This then connects with the first pipe section of the downpipe and thus allows the upper part of the downpipe to rotate. The downpipe is situated between the turbocharger and exhaust system. The connection to the exhaust is original. It can support performance up to max. 450HP, of course, other components such as Exhaust System, Injectors, Manifolds, Intercoolers, Turbochargers must be installed and the software adjusted accordingly. The downpipe also fits upgrade turbochargers like K04-023 plug & play. The downpipe is a direct replacement for the original.
